Overview

Hoyanrevet II is a 480L SPS reef filled with quite a lot of fish :-)

The Tank

Custom made tank from Göteborg in Sweden. Normal float-glass - 10mm allround and it's glued with black silicone. Size in centimeters is 160 (L) x 60 (W) x 50 (H). It has a overflow in the rear left corner, with 40mm Durso standpipe to the sump and 32mm for the return.

Lighting

I have a Giesemann Infinity 2x250 + 4x54W T5 lamp.

Current bulb selection january 2009 is:
2 x 250W Reeflux 12K
1 x 54W D-D Pure Actinic
1 x 54W D-D Actinic+
1 x 54W Arcadia Marine White
1 x 54W Korallen Zucht Fiji Purple

Heating & Cooling

2 x 250W heaters for heating during the nighttime. 120mm fan blowing air over the water surface for cooling during warm summerdays.

Filtration

I've been experimenting and trying a lot of things, but current filtration in january 2009 is: Deltec 851 skimmer, KZ Easy-Lift Zeo filter with 1kg Zeovit, KZ Active Carbon and filtersocks.

Circulation

2 x Vortech MP40W in Reefcrest mode. Also some flow from the returnpump, a NewJet 3000.

Maintenance, Feeding and Supplementation

Values in the tank are maintained by using the Balling method, dosed troughout the day by a Aquatroinica dosage pump. To be specific I dose 250ml from each can daily.

Daily:
- Feed the fish 2-3 times a day with pellets, flakes, nori and homemade mix
- Dose Zeostart and KZ Kalium Balance Strong

Weekly:
- Change 10% water
- Clean the skimmer
- Dose Zeofood and Zeobak

Monthly:
- Change active carbon

Bi-monthly:
- Change zeovit

Fish

Tangs:
1 x Zebrasoma flavescens - Yellow Tang
1 x Naso lituratus - Naso Tang
1 x Acanthurus leucosternon - Powder Blue Tang
1 x Ctenochaetus tominiensis - Bristletooth Tomini Tang

Angelfish:
1 x Centropyge bispinosus - Coral Beauty Angelfish

Clownfish:
2 x Amphiprion ocellaris (pair) - WC, Spawning in tank
2 x Amphiprion sandaracinos (pair) - WC, Spawning in tank

Anthias:
6 x Pseudanthias squamipinnis - Lyretail Anthias, 1 male, 5 females

Dragonets:
2 x Synchiropus splendidus (pair) - Green Mandarin, spawning in tank

Gobies:
2 x Gobiodon okinawae - Clown goby
1 x Elacatinus oceanops - Neon goby

Dartfish:
1 x Nemateleotris magnifica - Firefish

Chromis:
4 x Chromis viridis - Blue/green Reef Chromis (XL)

Wrasses:
1 x Pseudocheilinus hexataenia - Sixline wrasse (Lives in the overflow box)
1 x Pseudocheilinus evanidus - Scarlet pin stripe wrasse

Corals

Mostly SPS; Acropora and Montipora. Some LPS corals and one large Sarchophyton. I'll try to be more specific later. My favourite is Acropora Millepora, and I have a few of those.
