Overview

Tank: About 370 liter including the sump.

Sump:  With Skimmer, Phospate reactor and Calcium reactor.

Lighting: 1 x 250W MH and 4 x T5 24W blue's

Controller: GHL Profilux Plus II

The Tank

The tank and cabinet was specially designed and build through my local fish shop, the tank holds around 325liter, is 90cmx60cm at the bottom and top but 100cmx60cm in the middle and the height is also 60cm (curved sides) all 10mm glass. The sump contains around 50liter with small refugium.

The Tank was started end of January 2008

Tank lights, Moonlights, Sunrise, Sunset, Overflow alarm levels, return pump, Ph and temperature are controlled by  the Profilux Plus II controller.

Kalkwasser and Calcium dosing done with a Aquamedic Tripple doser with built in controllers.

Lighting

Tank:

Aquamedic sunlight with 1 x 250w MH - HQI, and 4 x T5 blue's

Profilux simu moonlight with white, blue and red for moon, sunrise, sunset, and lightning.

Refugium:

Arcadia Nano 11w light fixture

Heating & Cooling

Heating: Aquamedic Titanium 200w heater in the sump controlled by Profilux Plus II controller.

Cooling: Strip of 6 x fans controlled by Profilux Plus II controller.  25 Deg. C,  1 larger silent PC case fan controlled by Aquamedic Temp. Controler. 25 Deg. C

Filtration

Sump: about 50 liter water.

Calcium reactor: Aqua medic 400

Phosphate reactor: Aquamedic 1 liter

Skimmer: Special design from LFS

Refugium: Macro Algae only at the moment.

Circulation

Return pump: Aquamedic Ocean runner 2500

Other: 2 x Koralia 3's for in tank circulation

Maintenance, Feeding and Supplementation

Iodine: 7.5ml / week

Strontium: 7.5ml / 2 weeks

Kalkwasser: 3 minutes every 30 minutes 24/7

Calcium: via calcium reactor pH around 6.5, dosed 45minutes/hour - Currently stopped

Vodca: Started to dose Vodca to see if it will help with the Hair Algae I struggle with the last couplle of months.  0.3ml/day first 3 days,  0.6ml/day next 4 days, then I will go onto 1.1ml /day for the next couple of weeks.
