Overview
I have a red sex max at the moment but i plan on getting a new tank sometime in march/april
The Tank
Will be getting it custom made from the lfs, something inspired by zero edge most likely, with inbuilt overflow, rimless etc.
Lighting
Will be getting 2x 250 watt metal halides, already picked the ones i want from the internet, will get them sometime soon.
Heating & Cooling
Will swap my chiller currently on my red sea max, since that is 1/6 hp, and can do over 120 gal and use that, and buy a 1/10 hp for the max. Will have the cool looking heaters by rena called the 'smart heater' in the sump if needed.
Filtration
Have already got the 4 foot sump, i think its about 60/70 gal, with 3 stages, a refugium, bio ball section and the protein skimmer chamber. Have bought a octopus core skimmer, new design by octopus.
Circulation
Tunze pumps, already purchased, plus some more planning in this area is to happen.
Maintenance, Feeding and Supplementation
No thoughts on this yet
Fish
Angelfish, maybe some tangs, clownfish etc
Corals
possible fish only tank, but i might add coral, soft and hard if i think the tank looks to plain.
Invertebrates
No thought here yet, but prolly the usual, i will see.
